After evaluating guidance for reopening, it was decided that certain public health measures would be observed. We ask that you carefully examine the following and prayerfully consider if you should attend at this time.
Public Health Considerations for In-Person Worship Services
To protect people’s health spiritually and physically, these measures are implemented to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Everyone is required to wear a mask inside regardless of vaccination status. Exceptions to mask-wearing include having a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents mask wearing, or being under the age of 2.
Fellowship and socializing will take place outdoors because ventilation is better.
To assist with entering and exiting in an orderly fashion, all persons will use the rear sanctuary double doors. These doors will open 10 minutes prior to service and will close 15 minutes after service.
Per current public health guidance, you must stay home if you have
Experienced any COVID-19 symptoms in the past 10 days: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.
Tested positive for COVID-19 recently. Please consult the local health department to determine a date to attend service.
Had close contact in the past 14 days with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. If you had close contact and are fully vaccinated and have no symptoms, then you may attend church.
Social distancing and capacity limits will not be enforced at our facility as these restrictions were lifted on June 15.
Continuing to Facilitate Worshiping Remotely
We understand that some may not be able to attend our in-person worship services at this time, so these worship services will be available on our church’s YouTube Channel for later viewing.
In Psalm 100:4 it says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.” You can imagine the joy in which these words were expressed as people went up to the temple in Jerusalem. May we also come before the Lord with prayer and thanksgiving and praise!
Blessings,
Pastors, Joint Board of Deacons, and Reopening Coordinating Committee
