Series Description: All authority is given to Jesus. He is our Lord. The Book of Hebrews goes into detail regarding Jesus' superiority over all things. HE is greater than all, and we need to affirm and live out this reality as His disciples.
Sermon Description: The author of Hebrews wants his readers to remember the promises of God, and to live in light of these promises, even as he warns them to not get lazy and to mature in their faith in Christ. In remembering God's promises to us, we would do well to imitators of people of faith who have shown diligence and patience in living with hope in the fulfillment of God's promises in Jesus Christ. We all need something to look forward to in life, and God promises us an eternity spent with Him in His glorious presence!
