Series Description: We have all heard the Great Commission. We all know to a certain extent that we are to carry out the Great Commission. Then why aren't we carrying it out? Why aren't we taking it seriously? We need to begin by trusting and submitting to Jesus' authority, and be about making disciples of all nations!
Sermon Description: The Great Commission that Jesus gave is like His last will and testament to His disciples. It gave the disciples under Jesus’ authority to continue what He began on the earth with them. It is a sober and serious matter, and it is something that is handed down to us as disciples of Jesus Christ to carry out as well. It calls us not to just be disciples, but disciple makers for Jesus. The command is given, and our work is defined for us by our Lord. Are we going to take this work seriously, and carry it out as if it was the only thing that mattered to us?
