Advent literally means “to come”. It is celebrating the arrival of the Christ. At the same time, there is an aspect of awaiting.
Sermon Description: Today, I want to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, using colors used as part of what is called the Wordless Book. The Wordless Book has been used by Charles Spurgeon, D.L. Moody, Fanny Crosby, Amy Carmichael, and more recently as part of the work of Child Evangelism Fellowship. We can give thanks to God who through His Son Jesus dwelt among us as Emmanuel, God with us, and has paid for our redemption through His Son’s death, so that through faith in Him we can live together with God in heaven forever.
