Advent literally means “to come”. It is celebrating the arrival of the Christ. At the same time, there is an aspect of awaiting.
Sermon Description: What we celebrate at Advent is the coming of the Christ. Jesus came at just the right time according to God’s plan, and John the Baptist was the forerunner to His coming. We are now living between Jesus' first coming and His return. In the scope of God’s time; HIStory, we are either preparing the way of the Lord’s return, or being challenged to make ourselves right with God. There is no better time than now to receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
